Tschu Ho Lee (1932 - 2024), native of Seoul, studied at the Mittenwald school in the 1960's and earned his Meisterbrief working under Josef Kantuscher. In 1970, Lee moved to Chicago to work for Kenneth Warren & Son. Lee was announced as the first instructor of the Kenneth Warren & Son School of Violin Making (now known as the Chicago School of Violin Making) and became the director in 1980.
